Unlike other brands that cannot function unless both bulbs are installed. Only one cable connects the unit to the end caps preventing a tangle of wires around the aquarium. The Visi-Lux® power unit has water resistant end caps that are made of durable transparent polycarbonate material for easy and precise fluorescent bulb mounting. This system is specifically designed for humid environments and each end cap is color coded for correct connection. Visi-Lux power unit works with either 30 or 40 watt bulbs, 36" to 48" long.
